ABOUT THE BALL
Welcome to The Wrecking Ball ATL 2016. What began a year ago as a celebration of legendary Atlanta live music venue, The Masquerade’s 25th anniversary by bringing together an amazing array of punk rock icons of both past, present and future, barges forward as an annual tribute to music we love by artists we admire.
Last August, the inaugural Ball boasted a lineup we had only have dreamed of assembling. Daily headliners, The Descendents (who made their first Atlanta appearance in 18 years) and Coheed & Cambria, were supported by dozens of special sets by the likes of classic artists The Get Up Kids, Braid, Appleseed Cast, Judge, Glassjaw and Small Brown Bike, much anticipated reunions by Failure, Thrice and Hum – and many beautiful upstart artists such as Girlpool, Turnover, Microwave, Adventures, Beach Slang, Petal, Big Jesus and more!
The three Saturday late night aftershow concerts with Hum, Foundation, Title Fight, Sorority Noise and Superheaven are still being talked about.
Now, for the 2nd edition, on one magical weekend in August we will gather over 60 artists to perform in an expanded 5 stage format- 2 outdoor festival stages and 3 intimate indoor club stages. Painting from the same musical palette that made The Wrecking Ball 2015 one of the most talked about festivals of the year, Punk Rock, Hardcore, Post Hardcore, Emo, Alternative, Indie Rock and more will all be showcased again and again over two glorious days.
Beer will flow and a myriad of the best Atlanta Food Trucks will dish out their savory goodness, including an expanded selection of Vegetarian and Vegan options. They will be joined by a large representation of artists, record labels and supporting businesses who will all be onsite, sharing their products and celebrating alongside us.
Get ready. Join us in Atlanta, the city we love, on the weekend of August 12 – 14, as she displays all of her Rock and Roll glory.

+ When does the festival start?
The Wrecking Ball ATL 2016 kicks off with a pre-party on Friday, August 12th with the music running from August 13th-14th. Gates on Saturday are at 12:00 PM and gates on Sunday are at 11:00 AM.
+ When does the festival end?
The festival ends at 11:00 PM on Saturday and 10:00 PM on Sunday.
+ Are there VIP tickets?

No. Each room will be subject to capacity.
+ Can my band play the festival?
No. The Wrecking Ball 2016 is full.
+ I bought my ticket, how do i get my wristband?

+ If I bought 3 tickets, do I need to have all 3 people with me to pick up our wristbands?
No, as long as you have all 3 tickets, you can get all 3 wristbands.
+ Do I need a wristband if I have a ticket?
Yes, every ticket will be exchanged for a wristband. No wristband = No entry.
+ Can I wear my wristband on Saturday and give it to my friend on Sunday?
No.
+ I lost my ticket how do i replace it?
Tickets and wristbands are non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced.
+ Is there camping at the festival?
No. However, there are several hotels near the area.
+ Is there parking at the festival?
We strongly encourage you to use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. There are some nearby paid surface lots.
+ Will there be alcohol at the festival?
Is the sky blue and the grass green?
+ Will there be food at the festival?
Yes, there will be multiple food trucks on site, including vegetarian and vegan options.
+ If I need medical attention, will that be available?
There will be medical tents located on site as well as a medical team roaming around. If you cannot make it to one of the tent or team, grab a member of our security staff and they will assist you.
+ I have a mobility limitation, may I bring in my wheelchair?
Yes.
+ Are there ATMs at the festival?
Yes.
+ Can I bring a bag into the festival?
Yes, but it will be subject to search.
+ What am I allowed to bring into the festival?
Sunscreen, a small bag (subject to search), an empty water bottle.
+ What items are prohibited?

- Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
- Framed or large backpacks

- Large chains or spiked jewelry (Spikes longer than 3/4 of an inch)

- Video Equipment: No video recording will be allowed. THIS INCLUDES GOPROS
- Professional still camera equipment (no duetchable lenses, tripods, zoom lenses, commercial use rigs)

+ Will there be free water stations?
Yes.
+ Is there a lost and found?
Yes. We will collect lost items throughout the festival and they will be held at the front gate.
+ Can I bring my camera/gopro?
NO.
+ Will there be re-entry?
There will be re-entry allowed until 5:00pm each day.
+ Are there seats?
No.
+ Where will Punk Rock Milo be?
He has a vendor booth in the park for charity.
+ How old do I need to be to attend?
The event is all ages.
+ Can I bring my child?
Yes.
+ Does my child get in for free?
No.
+ Is this indoors or outdoors?
Both. there will be 3 indoor stages and 2 outdoor festival stages. (Sets WILL overlap)

The event is rain or shine.
